bonds is a hosted messaging service that adds an AI participant, called a Bondi, to conversations with friends. People can ask it to build shared tools such as a habit tracker or trip countdown, create games, and generate media using photos and context from the chat. The resulting apps and activities stay inside the conversation for the group to use together.
Each chat can give its Bondi a different appearance and personality. The service supports ongoing group context and shared creative activities, with access through its web app as well as its iPhone app. It is aimed at friends who want conversational AI to take part in their shared plans and interests.
