Carrier Pidge

What is Carrier Pidge?

Carrier Pidge is a deliberately slow social messaging experience that turns a personal note into a digital carrier pigeon flight. Instead of instant replies, you write a message to a confirmed friend, release a pigeon, and watch it travel across a world map toward their approximate roost.

Key Features

• Write & Release: Compose a note for a confirmed friend and attach it to a digital carrier pigeon.
• Live Flight Tracking: Every message gets a route, an estimated arrival time (ETA), and a visible journey across the map.
• Approximate Roosts: Uses broad geographic regions rather than exact addresses, so you never share your precise location.
• No Read Receipts or Instant Pressure: The waiting is the point — messages arrive when the pigeon lands, earning a moment of attention.
• Global & Multi-language: Designed for friends around the world, available in many languages with approximate global locations for flight distance.
• Friend System: Invite friends via a personal link or username, send a request, and build your flock after confirmation.

How It Works

1. Write — Choose a friend and leave a little note.
2. Release — Your pigeon takes off with the message.
3. Watch — Follow its route and changing ETA.
4. Receive — When it arrives, it's the recipient's turn.

Use Cases

• Sending thoughtful, personal messages that deserve more than a notification.
• Long-distance friendships where a little suspense and anticipation add warmth.
• Anyone tired of instant-messaging culture who wants a slower, more memorable way to stay in touch.

Privacy

Carrier Pidge uses approximate roost areas to create a meaningful route without sharing exact addresses or tracking anyone in the background.
