LaTeXdiff Online

LaTeXdiff Online is a free web tool that lets you compare two LaTeX (.tex) files directly in your browser. It uses the real latexdiff Perl script server-side to produce a third .tex file with changes marked up using \DIFadd{...} and \DIFdel{...} macros. When compiled with pdflatex, additions appear in blue and deletions in red strikethrough. The tool supports both paste and zip upload modes, offers advanced options for marking style, deletion style, float handling, and math markup, and ensures privacy by discarding inputs immediately after processing. It is ideal for researchers tracking changes between drafts, generating revision files for journal resubmission, or sanity-checking thesis revisions without installing Perl or subscribing to Overleaf Premium.
