OXware Hypervisor

Open-source KVM/QEMU hypervisor management platform with modern web UI, REST API, and enterprise features.

Introduction

OXware Hypervisor is a full-featured, open-source KVM/QEMU hypervisor management platform designed to replace VMware ESXi and Proxmox VE. It offers a modern dark-theme web UI, REST API, real-time monitoring, role-based access control, VNC console, AI assistant, and more—with zero licensing fees. Built for bare-metal servers, cloud VPS, and on-prem homelabs, OXware supports one-command installation on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS or Debian 12. Key features include virtual machine lifecycle management, live migration, OVA/VMDK import, IP pool management (IPAM), per-VM firewall, snapshot scheduling, backup to S3/MinIO, LDAP/AD SSO, TOTP 2FA, Prometheus metrics, and an AI assistant for natural-language VM creation and capacity forecasting. Enterprise capabilities in v2.5.3+ include DRS, affinity rules, EVC, maintenance mode, NUMA scheduling, linked clones, SIEM export, and site recovery. The platform is MIT-licensed and self-hosted.
